Join us and become part of one of the most exciting initiatives to change the destiny of millions of people.  Come pray for spiritual rain on the 10/40 window, so that there will be a harvest for our King.  Become part of one of several teams that will visit countries in this region.

Q: Why should I go?

A: Jesus’ last command was to make disciples of all the Nations. 2000 years later we have not yet accomplished it. We are faced with 20% of the world’s population who are currently followers of Islam and who do not know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. ‘Going’ is not doing something out of the ordinary; it is a simple act of obedience.

Q: What difference will our prayers make?

A: Prayer changes things. According to the Bible, the prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with (Message). It is commonly accepted that before a farmer sows the land, he will definitely prepare it. The same principle is true in the spirit. Prayer prepares a person’s spirit for the Gospel.

Q: Where will I get the money to go on this journey?

A: This is many people’s first question. We easily quote scripture but we sometimes have difficulty believing it. We know that in Haggai God says: ‘I own the silver, I own the gold (Message), but we often find it difficult to trust Him. There are many testimonies of fellow believers who answered God’s calling to the nations without knowing were the funds will come from and God honored their obedience and provided for their financial needs. The Macedonian project will also guide and support you in this process of fund raising.

Q: Who am I to go, I don’t feel qualified to go?

A: No one is really qualified to go. We become qualified through Jesus Christ and His Spirit within us. And the old saying is that He does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called! The Macedonian project will also provide you with applicable training and preparation for your journey.

Q: Why pray for the 10/40 window now that South Africa needs so much prayer?

A: How far do you need to walk in South Africa before you see a church or meet a Christian? According to the latest South African census there are approximately 32 million people in South Africa (give or take a few) who call themselves Christians – a vast army of God if every one of them is committed and obedient. However, if you take a look through the 10/40 window you will find the following:

• 82% of the poorest of the world's poor (per capita GNP less than US$500 per year)

• 84% of those with lowest quality of life (life expectancy and literacy)

• The hub of the world's non-Christian religions (Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc)

• Close to 100% of those who are both poor and have least-access to Christian resources

• The least Christian resource investment and least sharing of the Christian message (The GIS analysis utilized country-level data from the Operation World almanac, the World Christian Encyclopedia, and the World Fact book.)

Q: Am I not too old or too young?

A: In 2007 a group of South Africans went to pray in a country situated in the 10/40 window – the oldest group member was 75 and the youngest was 9.

Q: Why do I need to pray there, can’t I pray for them while I am here at home?

A: Yes, you probably can…BUT there is a saying that when you pray in another country you pray on-site with insight. When you travel in another country on a prayer journey God shows you many things about Himself, the people, and the country and strangely enough – about yourself, that He for some reason never shows you while you are at home. If you don’t join the journey, you miss out on one life’s greatest experiences with God.

Q: It is really impossible for me to go, what can I do to help others?

A: If it is by no means possible for you to go, you can always sponsor someone else.
